Easter dinner:

Well we invited the Yue Yang girls over for Easter dinner. We had what we thought was a ham, but turned out to be some other part of the Pig, roasted in a honey brown sugar sauce. It was amazing. Then we made broccoli and cauliflower and mashed potatoes. We even got to have Scones thanks to Mary Claires sister who sent her a mix. It was all too die for. The barber and phone guy came up and helped us eat a little and also danced to the new American music we had playing. Let me tell you the barber can do a good mime, you really think he might be in a box!! ha ha ha!
After dinner we got out more easter egg dye and asked all the neighbor kids to come by. we had three little boys come over and dye eggs, they couldn't believe it! At first they were just amazed , then when the eggs dried they decided they wanted to eat them right away!! , Then they had egg wars on the floor crashing there eggs together, however after one cracked and some whine/ crying was had everybody stopped that and just continued to make more. It was really awesome for these little guys! One boy who we call our mimicking monkey got so into it, he was still working at it well after the other boys stopped. This boy likes to play the parrot game. Its pretty funny, especially since he doesn't know English. We just say random things and see if he will repeat. He always does, but its a good laugh. For example we made him say "i eat monkey brains, I am a monkey , I will eat your toes!" Hes super cute. After all was done the barber gave us this thumbs up, which we now means "perfect". His nephews really enjoyed our Chinese Easter!
